Double Eyelid Threads – Non-surgical double eyelid procedure.

The aim of non-surgical double eyelid procedure is to create desired double eyelids using threads. There is no scar as there is no skin incisions. Just few threads on each upper eyelids.

How does it work?


The desired double eyelid shape is marked on the upper eyelid. Following the administration of local anesthesia, threads are strategically placed in the upper eyelid to create the desired double eyelid shape.

Three to four threads are inserted into the upper eyelid skin to achieve the desired double eyelid shape and thickness. This technique is illustrated in the diagram featured in the American Journal of Cosmetic Surgery by Dr. Peter Kim.

After the threads are inserted, we will show the patients the results and inquire whether they are satisfied with the shape. Once we are content with the outcome, the threads are cut off at the skin level, burying the knots.
