This approach may be considered to:
- Address lateral upper eyelid hooding
- Reduce fullness in the outer upper eyelid area
- Modify the shape or contour of the upper eyelid region
Suitability and expected outcomes vary and are assessed during consultation.
Procedures That May Be Considered
A Fox Eye Lift may involve one or more of the following procedures, depending on individual anatomy and goals:
These procedures may be performed individually or in combination, based on clinical assessment. No single approach is suitable for all patients.

Procedure Details, Recovery & Risks
Location of Procedure
Post-Op Recovery
- The degree of swelling of eyelids is the most common concern voiced to us by patients after blepharoplasty.
- Most people will take 1–2 weeks off work.
- The swelling generally takes 3 months to fully settle; it is generally substantially improved within 2 weeks and most people are able to return to work.
- Some eyelids will swell more than others, and one side is always more swollen and bruised than the other.

Recovery and healing timelines vary between individuals.
Complications
There are a number of complications that are generally associated with all surgeries, and some specific to upper eyelid and brow procedures. Some are more common than others.
Even when the utmost care is taken, complications can occur. If any of these complications particularly worry you, please bring them to the attention of Dr Kim during the consultation.
